Man succumbs to injuries in Regent Park shooting

A man in his 20s is dead after being shot in Regent Park.

Police were called to the scene at Regent Street and Cole Street just after 9 p.m. Sunday night.

Paramedics say the victim was vital signs absent and was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

This is the city’s 23rd homicide of the year.

No word yet on any suspects or what may have led up to the shooting.
