SIU called in after man, 20, seriously injured in ETF raid

The province’s Special Investigations Unit has been called in following a police investigation in the Flemingdon Park area early Sunday morning.

At around 5:30 a.m., Emergency Task Force officers were attempting to execute a search warrant at an apartment building in the Grenoble Drive and Vendome Place area.

Three individuals were arrested at the scene.

The SIU were called in after a 20-year-old man had to be transported to hospital with a serious injury.

The SIU is an arm’s length agency that investigates reports involving police where there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault.
